View Full Version : Booked my own airfare - Transfer question....
I had enough airmiles to book my air seperately and save a few bucks. I also purchased the "transfer" package to pick me up at the airport and drop me at the Grand Floridian for the first leg.
On my last cruise, with airfare included, this transfer included delivering my suitcase to the hotel. My travel agent this time around was not sure (hmmm...) if this transfer package includes baggage pickup from the airport. Does anyone know?

When we did the land/sea package in November 2002, we booked our own air and the Disney transfers. They did meet us at the airport and took care of getting our luggage from the airport to the hotel. I think there are only 2 things that you have to do when you book your own air - arrive during the hours when Disney is providing transportation from the airport, and put the tags that you get with your docs on your suitcases before you check them in at your departure airport.
It all worked out great for us!

For Transportation on the Disney Bus, and baggage handling, how much are the transfers per person (going to the Cruise ship and going back to the airport) The transfers are a flat fee right?? (for our last cruise we just went with the Disney Air program which included transfers)
thanks for the help!

I was quoted $46 pp (under 3 free). This was from MCO to ship, then from the ship back to MCO.

For our 7night land and sea, it is $63 US per person. We are picked up at the airport, taken to the hotel, then from hotel to ship, then ship back to MCO.

Thanks for posting the prices!
Sounds like booking our own air and transfers seperately will save us $$$$$$.
