We just did this Mon, Aug 20, and it was great. There were 8 of us (my family of 4, a single young lady, and a family of 3. We did it because my DS (15) is a Disney fanatic and hopes to become an Imagineer. My DD (10) and my DW and I also enjoyed it. We ate with Kevin James who is a senior graphic designer. It was very informal, informative, and fun. We booked ours when we were 60 days out. As part of the lunch, everyone receives an individual nametag with Imagineer lunch on it, a personalized menu, and a plate signed by the Imagineer. You cannot request a specific Imagineer, but you can call the week of your ADR and they will tell you who is coming. We thought it was great, and will do it every trip to Disney from now on. Good luck !! :thumbsup2

Thanks for the information!!!! How did you make the reservation exactly? When you made the ADR?
I saw another one of your posts about WL. That's where we are staying, so any info you have about that would be fab too!
thanks ever so! :yay:

When you get to the 60 day mark, call for your ADR and ask for the Lunch with an Imagineer. I believe thry take a credit card number to hold the ressie, then you pay at the lunch. We love the WL. As you can see, we stayed there our previous trips. It works great for us, cause we have 2 kids (boy,15, and girl, 10, that can't share the same bed), so we always went with the bunk beds. The kids kove the pool and the waterslide, we all love restaurant in the lobby, and my DW and I like to sneak off to Artist's Point to celebrate our wedding anniversary while we are there. Taking the boat is a nice change from the busses, too. We've always had bunk beds, and the views were either of the Wilderness Villas (and the quiet pool), or last time we had a partial view of the castle thru the trees overlooking the lake. We stayed at the Poly this year cause we got a great rate and we love that (at least my DS and I do !) even more than the WL ! Good luck !! :thumbsup2
