I emailed WDW to get the dates for the 2009 Marathon weekend (I need to know which date to activate my AP in January so it'll cover both weekends!:thumbsup2 ) and it's January 8-11, 2009.

Oh sure, they can tell you that but can they tell us when the Minnie/Princess race will be NEXT SPRING??!?! Noooooooooooooooo! :headache:

Here's the reply from WDW regarding the DL half in 2008:

The event dates for 2008 have not been decided yet. The event will
still be held in September, but we are still confirming which dates.

Thanks for the info. I guess they may be waiting to see if Angels Stadium is avaiable? Rumor that was why they moved it this year???

Great on DL LOL I'm not sure if I'm doing DL in 2008 yet or if it will be 2009 but I'm not surprised they are still figuring it out. Didn't they have a weekend planned for 2008 and then changed it? I seem to recall the registration was to open and then delayed. But then again like Robert said they do have a lot more to work around then at WDW.

Judi I'm TOTALLY with you on the Spring plans. It's one of my daily whines :headache: I will do either the Disney Spring race or the Flying Pig (oh alright call me crazy but I'm warming up to the Piggy1/2) so really really want to know how my plans will work out. What if they aren't on the same weekend then apparently I will be required to do both! :scared1: Hang in there, if they don't have an answer this weekend we'll make sure they have one in October *cue evil laugh*
