Just wanted to share picture of gift baskets Betsy from Memories by Betsy made for me. They are a surprise, but I had to share with someone.

Basket on the left is for my Niece and Nephews who are going to WDW for a very first time, 1 week before us, and I just wanted to do a little something, so I got them Mickey Mouse ears with their names embroidered on them. Betsy also threw in some 1st trip buttons for them (in the picture, the button is on the wrong basket, and it's getting moved :) )

Basket on the right is for my boys. This will be their 3rd trip, but 1st gift basket (I just found DIS this year, so thanks!). They're getting the classic MM ears with their names, Pirates Mickey Mouse and Donald Duck plush, Jack Sparrow Racers, and refillable mugs (figured I get those put in there, since we were gonna do it anyway).

Just wanted a little something to start our vacation right!!! Ok, thanks for letting me share!

BTW, Betsy was so nice! She's really quick, too. She had these baskets done in less than 2 days! I would highly recommend her!

She does great work! Here's a picture of Paul's basket from our last trip. As you can see, he loved it! We went with a pirate theme, since we were there for the Pirate and Princess Party.

How does this work? If I pre-order a gift basket, is Disney able to have it in our room so that it is there when we check in?

If your room number is already assigned, then it will be waiting for you. Most likely, you will get your room number at check-in and the basket will be delivered within 30 minutes or so.

Thank you for the information. I sent her an email. I am within 2 weeks (as of yesterday) so it may cost me an additional $15. Too bad I didn't read this yesterday!!!

You could also make your own. I made mine for my boys and am going to ship them down the week before we go. I found lots of things at Dollar tree & Disney store. They came out really cute. I also found things at Toys R Us. I wanted to put food items in mine that was the only reason I did my own. :)

Are you able to get the package from shipping and somehow have it opened and put into your room before your kids see it? Or did you just leave it out after the first night your kids went to sleep? Sorry for the questions, I'm a total novice at this stuff, but I think its a great idea!!! I may also split stuff up and leave a nightly note and gift from Tink as I have read others have done.

I,m going to ship mine down the week before. I've read lots of posts about people doing this. At check in I'll get my package...I'm also going to pack snacks for the week, sunscreen and other personal care items. I'll have my husband walk the boys around and I'll go to the room and put the baskets on the bed and when they walk in...SURPRISE!! I found such great items!! I even found cute cards at Hallmark with Mickey's face on them to write a note on and tie them to the baskets!:)
