Points and banking question.

I think I know the answer but i will ask anyway. I have a Dec use year.

I will have 41 extra points for UY 07'. I will bank them into Dec. 08'

we used banked plus 07'UY pys for our trip coming up in April 08'

We want to save pts. to go Christmas 09' I will have 300 pts(150 08' and 150 from 09')

My question is can I bank the 41 07' pts into 08 then into 09' or do I lose those points if not used by Dec 08? I think I lose them. So what should I do with them?

You can't bank points again to extend their life. You can only use any given year's worth of points in the year you get them, the previous year (by borrowing) or the following year (by banking). So those 41 points can't be "re-banked".

Your option for the 41 points that you have to use between December 1, 2008 and November 30, 2009 are:


Do nothing and lose the points by letting them expire
Take a trip during that period to use the points
Rent or transfer the points to someone else
Give the points to someone (make a reservation with the points and give it away)

Thank you. That is what I thought.

I was just looking into a HH trip for DH and myself for our 15 yr annv. That would be 39 pts! That is if I can get HH in the summer at 7 months!
