Has anyone used the official photographers just as you enter the disney parks? because we were just wondering how much the pictures cost because we have never had one done:scratchin

we always have our picture taken.....you don't have to buy it if you don't want to....
and now they have the photopass system, where all of your pictures from your entire WDW visit can be grouped together on a CD (perhaps there's a thread about it that explains it)..
in any case, go ahead and have them take your picture.....you are not obligated to buy it if you don't want to...
but you might want to because they sometimes turn out spectacular...

Not sure but I think it something like $18 for a photo. We used photopass this year for the first time. There is a thread on here about it.
We prepurchased a photopass cd, went to Disney and grabbed the photographers where ever we saw one. Had about 70 photos when we came back and viewed them, lovely having the 4 of us together for once. At home you can add borders and zoom in, saving all the photos as a copy. I am in the process of doing this and have nearly 200 photos. The cost per photo is then minimal.

Took advantage of the prepaid $99 CD before we travelled.
I think that you can have up to 4 photopasses on the CD.
The water parks are now issueing photopasses with a coiled wrist band
***TIP*** MAKE A NOTE OF THE PHOTPASS NUMBERS ASAP
I lost a photopass with 18 days of photos on, but fortunately, I had made a note of the number :scared:
If you visit EPCOT and ride test track.....have your pass ready as you exit the ride, because you can have your photo added to your pass. I was not aware of this, but a Disney CM was near the photo machine and inserted a new card to grab the picture. I was then able to take the new card to the desk and get it transferred to my own card. (I was already using 4 photopasses, so thats why I got it transferred) :thumbsup2

We also took advantage of the $99 pre-booked CD and it was great for all three of us to have pictures taken together, which we edited on our return, and ended up with over 150 photos on our CD, which arrived just 4 days after we ordered it. If you want to see some of the pictures, read my trippie, using the link below, you may get lots of other useful ideas too!!

You can also have a photoshoot at the Grand Floridan added to your photopass cd but I'm not sure if this works with the pre-paid one. Kx

Yes :thumbsup2
Pre order the pass now, Disney will email you back with a promotional code, then you do not need to do anymore until you get back home
Just get the photographers to scan your photopass card each time you have your piccy taken.
When you get back home :sad1: Log onto the photopass site and enter the number on the back of your photopass and with a bit of luck...up should pop your piccys. You can then add disney borders etc to these before they put them onto your CD. You can have photos from up to 4 photo passes put altogether on 1 CD
After you have regestered all of your photopasses, it will tell you the total number of photos that will be on your CD.
REEMEBER TO NOTE DOWN THE NUMBER OF THE PHOTOPASS AS SOON AS YOU CAN (IN CASE YOU LOOSE THE PHOTOPASS WITH LOTS OF PICS ON - LIKE I DID !) :scared:
When you come to order the CD - If you have prepaid for the CD, you should have been emailed a promotional code, which you will need to enter, before placing the final order.
Hope you can make sense of some of this :thumbsup2

Do you have to add all the photos to the cart or do you just order the photopass cd and it automatically adds all photos from your account?
I am in the process of cropping and saving copies at the moment on my preordered disc. Just wondered if I have to go through all the photos selecting them or not.
Any advice appreciated, thanks.

I know this may sound like a stupid question but could someone put my mind at ease for me.
Do you have to pay-per-photo on-top of the $99 cd offer, or is that just one price for however many photos that you want to include on your Photo-pass cd? :confused3
I take the information on the website to mean that you just pay once ($99) and then get all of the photo's taken by the photographers included on your cd if you so wish too.

Once you have registered all of your photopasses and select a CD...all of your photos are added, unless you choose to delete any. Also if you add any borders, signatures etc. remember to 'save a copy' button. This enables you to keep also the original plain master. You should also see the number of photos increasing as you add more pictures with borders etc.

Thanks so much for that.:) I have been doing as you suggested and also doing close ups. So now my 70 photos are now 200 making even better value for money.

Just ordered mine and have recieved the promotional code - however I have also received 2 more emails saying that my order is being shipped to me?
"Your order is complete and has been shipped to the requested delivery address."
Is this normal? Or am I about to receive a blank cd for $99 :rotfl2:

I get all the information given and understand it perfectly, however I have one concern.
It states on the photopass info page "Be sure to log on now to view your photos. They will only be available for 30 days after they are claimed, and we don't want you to miss out on all the fun".
Does this mean that after my 3 week holiday I only have about 5 days to sort, edit, tidy and copy the photo's and order the disc before I lose all my photo's? :sad2:

The 30 days start when you enter your photopass card numbers onto the website. This can be when you get back home. It then will tell you of the date that the piccys will expire :thumbsup2
