Need craft ideas

Hi guys,

I need some craft ideas from all of you "crafty" people. I need something easy for a 9 year old boy and a 5 year old girl. Doesn't have to be Disney. Any ideas?

Medium? Sorry, I don't understand. But they are kids that I USED to babysit for. I no longer have them because of school and they moved. I am out of ideas. I was thinking like maybe a claypot craft or pinecone craft. Just have used up all my ideas through the years that I have had them. Thanks.

We do an art project almost every day and todays project is clothespin magnets.

We pain the clothespins and then glue on buttons on the front that match the paint color. Nothing too difficult, but a lot of fun!

Medium? Sorry, I don't understand. .
'Medium' refers to the substance you will be working with, i.e. clay, paints, crayons, chalk, etc. In other words, what materials do you want to work with?
The easiest thing to do is, go to a craft store and pick up a couple of craft kits. They have so many to choose from and you can get age appropriate crafts for each of the kids (since there is a big age gap) without spending a lot of money on supplies.

We (dd-17; dd-10; dnephew-almost 5 and me) like to do "Shrinky Dink" stuff. We use coloring sheets as our patterns, trace them onto the shrinky dink stuff with a sharpie then color them in with colored pencils, trim the piece (leaving an edge), punch a hole if your finished product will need to be strung or something, then bake it. We have alot of fun with it. Last year we made luggage tags.
