ToT 2 months from Today- What are you wearing?

With the race 2 months from today, has anyone planed or made their outfit for the race. Somebody has to have some cool ideas:idea:

We are going to break open some glow sticks left over from our last night dive and paint some shirts. We should get a nice 12 hours of glow out of them.

Not sure yet how we will dress. It does depend on the weather also. Cold spell, unuaually hot or rain would certainly have a effect.

We are thinking right now wish shirts and shorts. WISH hats with little clip on head lamps. Maybe some WISH Lime jewlery on Erica. We could wear funny hats like you and Linda did at the Goofy.

We are not even sure yet how to dress for the MNSSHP and the dinner at the Liberty Tree yet.

DD and I think we are wearing WISH gear and some good accessories. We debated costumes, but the pre-made ones look itchy and I know my limitations with sewing (as in maybe I could replace a button... maybe).

I'm open to any good ideas if anyone is struck with an inspiration...

Naw they would just think you were part of the special effects.

Erica's birthday is the 12th of January so she could wear her birthday suit for the half marathon. I could paint her lime green and put WISH racing Team on her back.

Two words: Stee--lers. :thumbsup2 Since it will be the height of the NFL season, Krista and I will most likely be sporting quite a bit of the Black n Gold. We may also be crawling since the race is 6 days after the Columbus marathon.

Is anyone planning an elaborate costume idea (ie--one we wouldn't recognize you in unless we KNEW it was you)?

No crazy costume here--still haven't come up with anything for MNSSHP either. But Scott and I have lots of glow necklaces and glow braclets to share with the WISHers at the race. We'll more than likely just be in WISH t-shirts and shorts.

Steve--Scott and I will be hobbling along as well, less than a month after Akron. But be forewarned--DH might start slinging some mud at the Steelers stuff--gotta love the man, he'll never go against the Browns, even though they stink most of the time!

I actually have put together a racing costume of Minnie. Can't decide to wear it for the ToT or MNSSHP, though. Because.........I want to wear a WiSH shirt too! :thumbsup2

For the race itself I will be wearing my WISH shirt and some glow-in-the-dark necklaces I picked up at the dollar store. For MNSSHP on Friday night - well I am undecided about that. I have a really nice long black cape that would work as a witch's cape or even Cruella de Ville's, but....do I want to be dragging it around the whole evening?? And have to lug it down to WDW?? I also have an old black dress and was thinking about being the bird woman from Mary Poppins. At least that would be more wearer-friendly and easier to pack. I am just so uncreative!! I am hoping for some inspiration soon!

I've been thinking about this too. I wanted Charlie to done a moustache and go as Pre. I don't know if too many people would get it though. I'd have to get him in those high white socks too. And those little shorts....OK stop. :laughing:

DH wants to wear costumes but I have been a few times at this time of the year and it is still quite warm so will have to decide on something lightweight.

DH has a premade prisioners costume that he wants to wear....I on the other hand have to idea.

MNSSHP is going to be pirates for us again (I had posted the pic before). Chad & I spent a small fortune on our costumes for 2005. Zack is insisting on being a pirate again, so I bought him the Gymboree costume yesterday.

We were toying with the idea of being Wendy, Peter & Hook.
But that would have cost alot more $$$ than buying one costume from Gymboree.
