a year..and my mom has my pw and email

My friend got hers hacked into about 4 times in one week.
I don't have one, and I don't want one.
My friend got on hers once when she came over...she showed me everything.
I thought it was boring.
My mom goes berserk when the word myspace even comes up as a word in a sentence.

I have one. I have for awhile. (Couple years at least) I use it mainly to keep in touch with people and for art.

Myspace is not dangerous. People are dangerous. If you're smart about it, nothing will happen to you, if you're an idiot and break rules (that are there for a reason) its your own fault that you put yourself in a bad situation.

I've met people over the internet. Some of my best friends on are on the internet. I am not, however, an idiot. I would never meet someone unless i knew full well that they were who they said they were.

Again, before I get off my soap box, Myspace is not dangerous. Myspace is your friend.

Without going into my speal (sp?), I'll discuss - the short version.

Anyone who puts any potentially harmful info out ANYWHERE, deserves what they have coming to them.
Myspace is no more dangerous than any place else on the Internet.

I could elaborate, but that's the jist.

I used to have a myspace, I just didn't see the point in it. It's not dangerous really, what you put out for people to see is what can make it dangerous.

I don't have a Myspace, and I don't plan on getting one. I don't find it dangerous, I just don't find a point to it.
But it would be dangerous just to the person who tells strangers where they live, and meeting them in real life.
Well...not on DIS of course.

I have a myspace. And it really depends on what you do on myspace if you use it to talk to friends, and stuff its not a big deal. I think if its set to private and you only have people you know, and stuff it doesnt really matter.
I dont think its completey safe though because, theres a lot of crazy people in the world, but your not gonna be attacked or anything by having one.

I don't like that.

You need to be careful about what you tell people and who you meet REGARDLESS of what type of forum or any other Internet type thing you're on. Just because a majority of the people on the DIS are nice people, there can still be bad out there.

OK I got a myspace and am pretty safe about it I would never meet any one I met online give out personal info etc. I use mine for ONE reason to stay in contact with friends. Many people dont know I have one and i dont mind it due to that.

I'm 12 and I have one. I think it's fine. I mean as long as you don't put too much personal stuff on. Oh and for those people who get killed it's their own fault. My mom has my password so it's fine with her. However I will tell you that you will most likely get points for saying the word *** in your post. Oh and you spelled it wrong.
