Wenesday April 4th
Weather ~ very hot, sunny, very humid 90+*F
After breakfast we headed off to Epcot. First we collected fastpasses for Soarin’, then did Circle of Life, Journey Into Imagination With Figment, and played around in the Imageworks areas.
The Flower and Garden Festival was due to open the next day and there were many beautiful topiary displays around the park.

Unfortunately the photo of Marie didn’t come out too well which I didn’t realise until too late :guilty: and as she is one of Francesca’s favourite characters that meant another trip here tomorrow in the hope of meeting her again. What a hardship to have to return to Epcot!! :rolleyes:

We all bought dream catchers in Canada and Danielle and Francesca each bought a small adorable fluffy husky cuddly, actually you can see one of them in the Sleeping Beauty photo. You will be hearing more about Danielle’s husky later. ;)
Then we went to the Magic Kingdom as we had an ADR for the Liberty Tree Tavern. It was in the waiting area, there just wasn’t enough space for everyone to wait and some people were getting very tetchy and irritable ~ I think the heat and humidity were affecting them ~ so I started to expect the meal to be maybe not so good an experience. Well, I couldn’t have been more wrong. We had a fabulous time, the food was excellent and our CM couldn’t have been lovelier. We were visited by Minnie, Pluto, Goofy and Chip n Dale.

After this lovely meal we went to the Laugh Floor Comedy club to watch the Monsters Inc show. This was very funny, especially one boy who made everyone laugh. Francesca got picked on once because she was wearing her Minnie Mouse dress and ears but luckily they were very kind to her!!!
We were all very tired after this as it had been very hot and humid today so decided to get an early night. What a treat to see the Electrical Water Pageant from the ferry.

We met three DISers today ~ a photographer at Epcot who recognised my lime green Mickey Head on my bag, a family from Nebraska whilst waiting for our meal at the Liberty Tree Tavern who were also sporting Mickey Heads (we said snap to each other!) and a DVC person who approached us at Epcot to give the girls complimentary Beauty and the Beast rose pens ~ whilst chatting to him I noticed his name badge and saw it was Vernon who was the mod who welcomed me on the DIS when I first posted!
Tomorrow ~ Epcot (in search of Marie) and MGM :wizard:
