Looking for recommendations for a cheap but clean one-night-stay hotel within walking distance of some reputable restaurants that'll be open till 11pm(ish). Throw in free continental breakfast and we got a winner! :3dglasses

Hawthorne Suites on Canada Avenue is clean and has a free breakfeast buffet every morning. There is plenty of resturants. Few that I remember off top of my head is MC Donalds, Burger King, Perkins, and Poyoyes' Chicken.

What about Laquinta, they have free breakfast. Go on tripadvisor.com and do some research. That site is great for getting opinions on hotels. I always check with them as people write in about the hotels and rate them. Also they have a free shuttle to and from the airport so you could get the rental car the next day.

It's funny, that's exactly the chain I was looking at. Your post was just the "nudge" I needed. La Quinta Orlando International North...within easy walking distance of many restaurants open late (one open 24 hrs), free parking, free continental breakfast, good tripadvisor reviews. Thanks so much! Happy Traveling! :3dglasses

I stayed at La Quinta Inn International Drive - Jamaican Court in 2006 and we really liked the place.
I'd recomend asking for a pool view bedroom .
