WDW while pregnant: not a big deal. at least, it wasn't for me. I have been blessed with a symptom free pregnancy so far (keeping fingers crossed), so I didn't have to combat morning sickness or fatigue. I did take it easy if I felt I was doing too much, but we are early-to-bed and early-to-rise types, so I didn't wear myself out.

I avoided all coasters, simulators, and anything that said pregnant women must not ride. I also avoided the tomorrowland speedway not only because I despse the ride :), but because there is entirely too much bumping going on for my comfort level. I did ride the safari, even though there are warning signs for it. we have ridden enough to know it really is a harmless ride--there was a gal at least 7 months pregnant in the same jeep with us and she didn't see what the big deal was either.

I also steered clear of the hot tubs. :(

weather it ran the gamut of cloudy and low 60's to a high of 87 one afternoon. coming from winter weather, I rather enjoyed the 87 degree day. although in october I would enjoy a 62 degree day, too

performances at epcot: we saw a lot of the "street performances" and really enjoyed the juggler in Italy--he really got the children involved. the drummers in japan are phenomenal, as are the improv actors in France. our favorites are still off kilter and the voices of liberty--we saw off kilter at least 4 times. but, why are the shows so short?

favorite snack: this trip: glazed almonds. we also ate a lot of popcorn--it just tastes better at WDW. we didn't get to have our usual choc. chip cookie sandwich at sleepy hollow either. we also ate several caramel apples at the boardwalk, but the ones at the MK are bigger and come with chopped peanuts (very important to my DH).

now I'm hungry :)

that's the end, I promise!!!

Did your sons like the characters and get any autographs? What about your 11 year old?

my 11 enjoys seeing the characters--he doesn't need to get an autograph or picture, sometimes a "high five" will do. the first year we went, when he was 9--he loved chasing the characters down for autographs. since we have "been there, done that" it isn't a priority anymore.

on the other hand, my 5 year old doesn't care for any of the characters, except the main mouse. I was stunned when he actually got into the hunny pot with tigger (he never cracked a smile, though :)). He did want to see snow white for some reason, but not cinderella or her mice.

hope that helps!

Glad you had a wonderful time. Thanks for Posting! I am with you though...I would miss the hot tubs also! I love relaxing in them at the end of the day! But there is always next time after the baby comes! Wishing you well! :)

Thanks for adding your final thoughts. I'm sure there are plenty of pregnant women who will be encouraged by your report.
