Has anyone done the women's Nike 1/2 in San Fran?
My DH and I did the 1/2 in Disney in January. I am planning to do this in October and would really like to hear form someone about the terrain. I am really worried about it!!
Thanks! Nancy

I am doing this with a friend who did the full last year. Her boyfriend, who did the full as well, said to expect a lot of hills.
I'm not really worried although I guess I should be. I don't do hills well. I'm sure I will be walking going up and running going down.
Is there anything specifically you want to know? I'll be happy to ask my friends for you. :)

I've known people who have done it.
I would like to do it once for that Tiffany necklace.

I'll be there, although I haven't run it before. My boot camp instructor was there as a TNT coach last year, and she's training her own group of ladies for it on her own this year. I think if you incorporate hilly runs, speedwork, or hill work into your routine you'll be OK. Good luck and see you in SF!

Haven't done it before, but will be there for the 1/2 this year. I'll be walking it (mostly), but am trying to incorporate some hill work.

Thanks for your replies. I am not in the shape I was in for Disney and am nervous about this.
I also will be walking uphill.
Is there a time limit, like at Disney? The only time limitation I found seemed to be for the full. I don't forsee a problem but would like to know.
Thanks!

The only limit I see is 7 hours, regardless.
