Thanks guys. So, do you think there is too much going on in this one that I personalized for myself? I think it looks ok but I think this font wouldn't work for a longer name. I'm looking for a font I could use for longer names...

I would agree with you that it is a little bit much. I would go with a more basic font so it doesn't detract from the rest of the design.
These new designs are really cool. How come I don't get one of those cool magazines?

Amy,
Thanks for the honest opinion Amy and for the compliment:flower3:
Do you use PSE? I can't remember... I get it because I paid for a subscription. I signed up on their site so I could take the video tutorials. Otherwise I never would have been able to figure out how to print text in a Mickey head:rotfl2:

Yes, I use Photoshop Elements 5.0 - but I learned it all the hard way - with my first half way through the screen. Ha, Ha
What is the name of the magazine, maybe I could just get the subscription.

I agree. I think it is ok for your short name, but it would be too much for anything longer. I don't have a suggestion, but I'm sure you'll find a font that looks great.
What magazine?

Thanks Beth!
The magazine is "Elements". I think the full name is Adobe Photoshop Elements Techniques. It's only 30 pages. Each issue (I think it's monthly) has a few techniques and step by step instructions. This issue's featured technique was the realistic flames. I signed up for a subscription to the site which includes all the tutorials including video tutorials and the magazine. The site is photoshopelementsuser.com - It was worth it for me - (I think it was $29). I would have given up long ago if I hadn't had the extra help.:rotfl2:

Thanks for the information. I should try some tutorials, but so far I have been too cheap. ;) Maybe that could be one of my Christmas presents. Of course, dh thinks I spend way too much time designing, so maybe not. :rotfl:

Beth,
Personally I don't think you need any tutorials:hippie: but they were worth it for me.
