Hi All :goodvibes

Does anyone else get very emotional while at WDW? I have so many "moments" while we're there, like.....

Going through the Disney gateway for the first time in ages?:sad1: :rolleyes1

Watching Wishes?

Watching Illuminations? (the music feels like it's soaring through my very soul!)

Watching the opening ceremony at MK, i always have a huge lump in my throat:hug:

Am i alone in this? or are a few of you the same?

I KNOW that's why, when friends ask why we go back so often, we love to vacation here, over and above ANYPLACE else in the world:love:

It's THE most magical place on earth:grouphug:

What do you think? What makes you return time and again?:goodvibes

I agree with all the the above Audrey. I also get tearful at Fantasmic and I could bawl my eyes out on our last day. We talk about going elsewhere for holidays but somehow always end up back at WDW. There is nowhere quite like it. It's lovely to escape the adult world for a couple of weeks :)

Yes, i'm a huge cry baby at Disney! But they are happy joyous tears!

I cried during Wishes and Illuminations, I get quite emotional during Spectromagic and I just love watching the faces of little kids when they see their favourite character!

There aren't even words to describe how much we're looking forward to seeing our little princess experience all the wonderful things we love about Disney for the first time :cloud9:

Phil loves it too, its like an escape from the real world :goodvibes However, I don't think he's ever felt moved to tears except when he got stuck on the monorail once for 40 minutes with no air conditioning in 92F heat. I'm sure he was almost ready to cry then! :rotfl2:

i do too, i get a lump in my throat when i hear "can you feel the love tonight", or when i drive through the WDW arch, or when i get the boat over to the MK. there's loads of moments. i never used to get all emotionaly about these things but i'm getting worse as i get older!

I'm not ashamed to admit I've been known to get something in my eye when I'm visiting Disney. Usualy during the fireworks or when I see one of the characters. I don't know why but there always seems to be loads of grit around on our last day that just keeps on getting in my eye and making them water. Not that I'm crying you understand, I'm far too manly for that.....really..........

I am always emotional at DW. I have been there 6 times 7 is on its way in May the 1st thru the 15th. Yep we are doing it all out right. It is our 10 year wedding Anniversary and can't wait to spend quality time there, and not feel rushed to do it all in one day or 5 days. Everytime I watch Philharmagic, I get so tearyeyed! Or when we get to the Main Gates. :woohoo:
I love the Disney experiences that I have with my son and husband.

I went for my first trip to WDW earlier this year and thinking about everything brings tears to my eyes. :cloud9:
I am so adamant i want to go back next year (and the next and the next...) but with DS2 turning 2 its even more expensive and DH is going to have a nervous breakdown if I mention it again.
The parades really got me and just looking at the castle at night. The biggest blubbing moment I think was when my DD who is 3 ran screaming, "It's Minnie Mouse! It's Minnie Mouse!", when she met her for the first time in AK and Minnie just kneeled down and hugged her. I think I need a tissue now...............

 Awww Glenda, we all understand completely:hug:

Whan you do eventualy go back, you will appreciate it all the more! It's just a pity we have to pay for it isn't it? or i would be there for most of the year:grouphug:

Thanks for all the

I'm just glad I've found some like minded people to share these things with. DH just thinks I'm either losing the plot or regressing back to childhood....
As if!!

I love coming here and being reassured that it isn't just me that is such a big softie! I routinely cry at trip reports, Disney adverts on the tele and even sometimes when I'm doing my planning - and that is even before we get in a park! The first time we went to DLRP I cried for most of the week, but only because I was so intensely happy. Wishes is the biggie for me, followed by Spectro and watching the Disney Dreams Come True show on our last day last year REALLY wasn't a good idea.....

From my trip last week, these are the things that made me well up:

walking down main st again
wishes
illuminations in 3 places!
fantasmic as it had rained in the evenings and we didn't think we would get to see it
fantasmic for the show:rotfl:
seeing my best friend cry with joy when she met eyeore
mickey kissing minnie and calling her a princess at "Dream along with mickey"
the Pirate and princess party fireworks
saying goodbye to the castle on the last night

I'm sure there were more but you get the idea:lmao:
when i am at home, its the dreams music in the new adverts, any of my soundtrack cds, the planning dvd, photos, and loads of threads on the DIS about cute happenings at WDW.

You are definately not alone:lmao:

Hiya

I do get emotional, but the problem with me is I get embarrassed easily. I think its the mocking I have had from dh

Yes Fantasmic is the worse. I always get tearful and always will. I even cry watching it on you tube.

Bruce better watch out in November. I will have my kids with me. That always makes me tearful when I see my children getting excited over the characters.
