My husband and I are going to the world next Saturday (nothing like waiting till the last minute - is there a smilie for DUH?) I drive an ecv and anyone who reads the boards knows there's sometimes hostility displayed toward ecv drivers - especially those of us with all our own appendages and the misfortune to be overweight. . .
Perhaps, if I had a clever, humorous or otherwise disarming sign on the front of my basket, maybe I could get some smiles instead of frowns. Does anyone possibly have something I could use in their library? (I don't dare to ask for a design to be created at this late date.)
Thanks in advance!
Linda

I'm thinking.... Do you want a reference to the ECV or just a cute/funny distracting sign? I have a Tinkerbell joke you could put on the front! I'm new, but I'm trying to think of something for you. I'll try to get something for you by tomorrow, but if you have any ideas/fav characters let me know!:)

Hmm. Let's see - My favorite characters are Minnie . . . and Ursula, whom I resemble, at least from the tentacles up. I guess - a fun distracting type sign - I want to show people - hey this is a real person not just an old obese handicapper who's in their way.
(Can you tell there's been some - um - less than magical treatment from my fellow travelers in the past?)

I'll try to work on something tonite if jackiny doesn't get to it first. I started something last night, but I was stumped! I had a rececar theme with Cars, but it seemed too boyish! I guess you don't want a "get out of my way, I'm on a mission" sign!:rotfl2: I read a thread from a lady who wanted to ban ECV's from stores! I was shocked! I hope one of us can come with something for your fabulous trip! Here's my joke: What do you call a fairy who needs a bath? STINKERBELL!:lmao: :rotfl2: :rotfl:  :woohoo:

Laughing! That's pretty funny!
Actually a "CAR" would be fine! I've always loved cars and as a teenager hung out at the local dragstrip where my role model was "cha cha muldowney" (Heart like a wheel) I think your tag phrase is a HOOT! There's lots of cars to choose from too, besides the cars characters - there's the Sci Fi Car, and the car in Dinoland - PoohTigEy, you are genius!
Jackiny, thank you for offering - since you're busy right now and PoohTigEy has an idea, let's let her run with it. I'm really grateful to both of you!

Thank you for your kind words. I think you right click, save as,then open, and print. Enjoy your trip, and don't let anyone take away your magic with their rudeness!

We're BACK! IT WORKED! I can't tell you how much I appreciated these cards. Not only did I not meet with hostility, some people actually engaged me to COMMENT on the clever signs (Usually, if the public isn't complaining about ecv'ers, they're ignoring us, so this was definitely a noticable improvement.)
It was a mostly magical trip and I think your comment and the signs were the start of the magic, and I will definitely use them again!
Thank you Poohtigeey!

I am so happy they worked for you. You've come up with a new use for the designs on here!
