We have stayed there twice, in 98 and in 2000 - the hotel is across he highway from USF - a quick drive - you could walk if you were really energetic! The rooms were nice enough - nothing fancy but clean. Before our last visit they had done an upgrade and enlarged the hotel. We never spent much time in our rooms there - there are several family-type restaurants nearby (Dennys, Cracker Barrel) and a restaurant and lounge in the hotel.

we stayed there in December. We had a 1 BR suite, which was very spacious for us. We had 2 adults and 3 kids. It is very close to US and it took only a few minutes to drive there. I even saw some people walking. They do have complimentary bus service, but we always drove. The bus service was kind of limited, and we wanted to be able to come and go as we please.
The rooms were nothing special, but clean. We had 2 double beds and a sofa bed. They had a mini kitchen with dishwasher, microwave, coffeemaker and refrigerator. They also had like a dressing area in with the bathroom sink, so you could close it off for privacy and change. There were also 2 closets, 2 TVs, iron/ironing board, and hair dryer.
The had an outdoor heated pool, but it, again, was nothing special. The kids went swimming one day, but even with it being heated, it wasn't warm enough for me. It was a little cool.
They also have a TGI Fridays right in the hotel and kids eat free 12 and under. You just have to pick up meal tickets at the front lobby when you go eat.
Hope this helps.
