I'm open for suggestions on what room to ask for or what part of the building I want to stay in to get a good view of Illuminations if possible or something besides just a plain landscape. Anyone have any favorites?? :wizard:

There probably isn't a good chance of an Illuminations view from the preferred view. Most of them have a view of either the themed pool (Luna Park) or the quiet pool and those surrounding areas. Basically, everything but Boardwalk view and parking lot view.

We haven't had a room request met at Boardwalk yet.
Your choices are "high floor or low floor" - some people like higher floors - with BW View you have a better view of Illuminations but as was said, not much of a chance there with preferred. Closer to and farther from elevators. Some people find the Community Pool views less noisy than Luna Park.
The subjectively best preferred views are the Village Green rooms - the are "almost Boardwalk."

We had a lovely room--1115-- last Sept. It is considered a garden view room and is located on the front left side of BWV facing the main entrance. We could easily see most of the fireworks from Illuminations and definately hear the sound track. It is also close to a secondary entrance so when you get off the bus at the end of the day you don't have to walk all the around and through the lobby, just cross the street and boom your in the hall by your room.:hippie:
