Can you ask for a refridge to be in your room at pop?
I will be taking my 60 something parents to Disney for the first time in their life. :yay:
Mom is diabetic so would need a fridge for insulin. Do they have any here to request? :confused3

Also, I am getting a preffered room so they don't have to walk far. What buildings are included in the preffered sections?
We don't care if it's quiet or not since we are sound sleepers!
Any Suggestions for me?
Thanks!!!

A fridge can be rented directly from POP for $10 per day.

As far as i know the 60's buildings around the hippy dippy pool and parts of the 50's & 70's buildings that are closest to Classic Hall are considered preferred rooms. REFER TO MAP>>>http://http://www.wdwinfo.com/maps/PopCenturyMap.pdf

If any of my information is incorrect i am sure another one of the many helpful folks here will correct me.

I believe there is no charge for a fridge if there it is a medical
necessity.

This appears to be true. Yet another thing i was unaware of until now. I found this thread through a search which may be helpful to you>>>http://http://www.disboards.com/showthread.php?t=429971&referrerid=&highlight=fridge+for+medical+reasons

I have gotten a frig for insulin during two stays at POP. There was never a charge. However, even tho I had the request on the reservation and mentioned it again at checkin, the frig never appeared in my room until I called mousekeeping from the room. In 2005 I had to call twice. In 2006 it came promptly after one call.
