Hey Mickey look who's 50 design request

We're taking my dh to wdw for his birthday this year. Actually it's a combined birthday/Christmas trip as our oldest is moving to Orlando this week and likely won't be able to come home for Christmas (sigh)
Anyway we will be at disney over my dh's birthday and he loves disney

Wanted to know if anyone was interested in a design for his birthday that we could all wear. Kind of like my slogan up above maybe with my dads 50 or floyd is 50 or something. All adults in the group, me, dh, dds, sil, and boyfriend of daughter #2.
I looked through some of the designs and many birthday ones are more for little kids...I had ones I ordered for dh and I when we were there last year for my birthday, he even wore princesses. But these are much cuter. I just have dial up and it is taking a very long, long time to look at designs.
Anyway would appreciate any designs anyone has time for. Trip isn't until December.

I redid this from a previous design.
I can change the wording for the others to wear if you like the design. Just let me know. Also, if you want the background to be a red/green gradient for the Christmas season I can change that too.

I was in the middle of answering this when I got the 2 minute warning my doc was on the way so I had to go to work....it's so much easier to see these at work, but I had to wait to go home to answer you.
Anyway, I so forgot that Floyd was a muppet. We used to sp;end every Saturday night watching the muppet show (all we could afford) SO I'm thinking we need 2 shirts for 2 different days. When I think of Floyd muppet though he was always saying "cool and man" so i'm wondering if the top couldn't say "Cool man Floyd is 50" or something like that. I looked up the band members and remembered them all. I just don't know if we would all like the same Floyd one or each a different one since the band has 6 people in it including Janice!!! Also loved the wdw 2007 on th guitar.
Appreciate your responding and what fun to have 2 designs. My dh will love it.
If you have time I think the different band members would be cool. Wonder if there would be a place for the bands name?
Sounds like alot of work so we would be happy with the original Floyd with the change to the top. Anything would be appreciated.

Oops....forgot to mention that in addition to Dr. Teeth, Floyd, Animal, Janice, Zoot, and Lips, the Electric Mayhem was joined ever so briefly at WDW around the time that Disney MGM Studios opened by Clifford, who is more of a rastafarian singer. Lips and Clifford are both rare characters. I have images of both to work with. Maggie

Well I had a couple of minutes between patients so pulled these up...they are so great, I'm trying not to laugh. They will be a perfect complement to the ones designed by Kari.
Hmm, there are only 6 of us but I love the idea of Clifford. To be honest I like Dr Teeth the least even if he is the head of the band. Maybe we'll leave him out......
I'm thinking that I will put these on the back of the shirt. We are all extra large except 1...if that helps with size.
I'm wondering if we could get a small logo with the name of the band for the front of the shirt, small to go up where they put names or whatever, if you have the time....My dh will be so suprised.

I think I may have solved the problem of Dr. Teeth. I will try to work him into the band name logo and just make Clifford as a graphic for the back of a shirt, instead of using Dr. Teeth. That way, you are all a part of the Electric Mayhem.....just one big band with the "front man" on the front of your shirts. lol

Ok, so Zoot rarely said much. He let the music do the talking. So, I found the chords to Happy Birthday and even had it say "dear Floyd" in the lyrics. The only words that are Zoots are "Can you dig it?" There are multi-colored music notes floating around. I hope you like this. Maggie

Loving it so far. Really, really appreciate the work you are putting in and so creative...keeping the secret from dh will be the hardest part.

And while you are at wdw if you see a cast member named Jamey at either the ticket scanning entrance at mk or parade control, that's our dd#1. She is on her way to FL as we speak to start her new job. Say Hey!! We did the food and wine festival last year for my birthday...48 for me.
I love pulling these up at work as I can see them in seconds instead of minutes and minutes at home. Which is good since I don't have much time between patients. I won't be back at work until next Tuesday. Can't wait to see what you have done. Enjoy your holiday weekend.

I was playing all weekend. Can't blame anyone else for doing fun things...at least I hope it was fun. Animal is too cute...the kids will fight over him I think, although dd1 has already claimed zoot for her hubby. He graduated with a music major.

They are so great, I can't wait to make both kinds of shirts. The only change I would make is on the Dr Teeth one it says birthday tour. It really is both holiday and birthday, but for these shirts I want to celebrate the birthday part.
