Just wondering if anyone has tried Secret Clinical? :confused3 I am curious if it is worth the money? I have always used Dry Idea, but I am tempted to try this for my upcoming trip to WDW.
Any one who has tried it, please let me know your thoughts!
Thank you all,

We just got back from our trip and my testing this product.
I did fine by following the directions for maximum protection. Before I left, I used it and sometimes I forgot to use it in the evening after my shower. If you use it after your evening shower before bed and then alittle in the AM, it works well. If you forget and only put it on in the AM, if doesn't get a chance to get into the pores and you will notice.:scared: I thought it was worth it for me. Have fun!princess:

I began using it (at night only) back in June when Degree quit working for me - We were in Disney at the end of July and it worked great - I do give my underarms a morning swipe of regular deodorant (Degree) as well, if I don't my skin feels like it is sticking together (but I'm weird)

I did some label reading for our upcoming Disney trip. SEcret clinical is I believe is 20% strength. I ended up paying almost 4 bucks less for the Secret Platinum at 19% strength. I can't see how when all the ingrediants are the same, how that 1% will justify spending the extra $$. Just my thoughts, but I'm thinking its just a marketing game.

Interesting, thanks for your input! Sounds like a marketing game to me too now.

I find that Lady Speed Stick 24/7 works really well for me! I tried Secret Platinum and I found I wasn't feeling as dry and protected as with the LSS 24/7.

Secret Clinical works great - it must be applied at night for it to work properly (something about your body temperature being more constant at night). You can still take a shower in the morning and the effects won't be changed. IMO, well worth the money.

I haven't really FOLLOWED the directions but I use it every morning after my shower & I think that it works great, even when I am working out (DH used to make fun of me but hasn't said a word since I have bought this! Nice guy huh?? I get him back & tease him to)

On the freebie thread a few weeks ago the Secret Clinical was offered as a freebie. I like taking travel size toiletries to WDW anyway, so ordered one. A few days after receiving it, they for some reason sent me a second one. I haven't tried them yet but, I plan on taking them both to WDW with me.

I broke down & bought in yesterday. Last night I read all of the ingrediants. The main one is the same strength as arrid but there is a couple of others listed in it. I hope the others are the key to make this work in the HEAT. We leave tomorrow so I'll let you know when we get back.

Thanks, let me know. We leave on 9/17 and I want to know if it is worth it.
Have a great trip!:wizard:

Yeah, read the ingredients on these. Its a marketing game to be sure.
I was going to buy it, but then I saw the price and started reading the ingredients on all of them. I decided that that extra 1% wasn't worth it, at least at this time. So, I tried the Ban which is 19% of the same active ingredient instead of the Clinical's 20%. I am pleased with it.
I may be missing out, but for half the cost I am not complaining.

DD is using it because she has a serious perspiration issue. She uses it as directed and it works very well. She spent over a month in Costa Rica this summer and it worked there (constant heat and humidity) Even worked in a steamy rain forest. I don't need as much protection, so I use Degree clear and it works great for me.

I've used it and I will say that it is definitely NOT a marketing game. The stuff works! I think the difference between it and other products is the form it is in (not a solid, not a roll-on, more like a soft "paste" form). It lasts a long time and is definitely worth the $$ for me!!

I also like Certain Dri. You can get it at the drug store for about $7. It's a clear liquid roll on. You roll it on at night with dirty underarms (so it says) and let it dry - do it with a tank or something to prevent staining. It stings/itches at first because it's closing your pores basically. It works for 72 hours to stop sweating. Works GREAT!! I do swipe a bit of regular deoderant on in the mornings but it's just as a backup for my own personal weirdness. haha It's really not necessary.

I've always wanted to try it, but wondered how well it worked. I think I might invest in some.
Does anybody know, off hand, the approximate price of the Secret Clinical?

DH is a VP of New Products for a company that makes antiperspirant and he said that the only difference between a regular soft solid and 'clinical' strength is that clinical uses 1% more of the active. He thinks it's marketing genius -- doesn't cost all that much to up the active but we're so afraid that we might offend that we're willing to plunk down 2x the price for 'clinical' strength.
My thought is that if it was 'clinical' you'd have been able to get it by Rx before. No such thing as Rx antiperspirant.
But, some people swear by it. I like what I use b/c it is unscented. Don't really have the need to smell like the ocean or a flower patch.

It worked for me too. I used it on our trip in July !!
I love it. I think it works really well- and I definitley sweat! Also, if you want something less expensive try Certi- Dri ( I think thats the name...). I like the smell and its worth the money. Good luck!

I also love it! I got a free sample somewhre, through a link, and ran out and need to get some more! IMO it is the best I've ever tried. I used it at the beach this summer and it was great, I ever had to worry about needing more!

Just got back from our week at Disney and it worked like a dream. Even through the heat and sweat. Great stuff!
