MS says new OKW booking category?

I called MS tonight about our OKW reservation in November. In the course of the conversation I mentioned that we were hoping to be near HH and the CM said that there will be a new booking category for this. I could kick myself for not getting more details (I was in a hurry at the time). Anyone heard anything about this? It doesn't sound right to me.

How funny. Maybe all the emails for booking catergories for SSR were misconstrewed for OKW.

Oooh! This is a juicy tidbit! Maybe DVC listened to everyone regarding SSR, and now both OKW and SSR will have preferred sections that will be bookable as separate (but equal points) categories.

I hope this info is released soon--I need to start calling for 3 2bdrms and a studio next Tuesday. My 81 yr old Mom needs to keep her walking to a minimum so we would prob need one of those preferred locations !

Just called MS to confirm.

Advisor Rebecca said nothing has been announced as of yet, but we should look for the next vacation magic coming out in 3 weeks for that and other new info.

P.S. When I asked if the other new info was the announcement of the CRV, she replied, "... the Contemporary resort at WDW is currently undergoing major refurbishment..."

According to the Fall issue of Vacation Magic, any room with the HH request will be converted to the new category.
