I called yesterday and all that was available at the deluxes was Standard at AKL for $195 a night....Now that I booked it, I am having second thoughts....this will be our 1st annivesary and standard view just isnt really getting me excited. Funny, I just received my confirmation from Disney (first email conf ever) and there is no mention of the free dining card, nor did the CM mention it yesterday...Looks like I have to call back. =(

I just called today because I wanted my family to spend one night at one of the Monorail resorts on 10/4, and they gave me a FL res rate for a Contemporary Garden View of $326.25! :confused3 The Poly is showing not available and I told her not to bother checking the GF. It's our last night there and it looks like that's not happening...
Any advice from the pros??

I just booked two nights Dec 14-16, Standard room at Animal Kingdom for $145 per night. I also got the $75 Disney Dining card as well. It was the only Deluxe available with the Dining deal.
Pretty good deal with the free dining card.

I used the AP rate which was slightly better than the FL resident rate and used Code FFD - Deluxe resorts - $75 gift card per room for the dining. It was $145 per night plus tax for 12/14-12/16 plus the $75 dining card.
They did not have an Savannah rooms but put the request on my reservation if one opens up.

Oh OK.
I haven't had an AP in a few years, so I don't think they would allow me to use that code.
I wouldn't be able to show an AP at time of check-in.
