the loop I requested? Here's my predicament: My husband made our res. over 2 weeks ago for Dec9-14, he requested loop 1500 on the phone with the agent, she said she would note it, well, we have been waiting for our reservation letter to come in the mail (it only used to take about a week!) it never came, so I called down today & was told they don't send them anymore, they e-mail them. Well, ours went to an old e-mail address, which is why I didn't know about this--I finally remembered our old password, and yes it is there, but nowhere on it does it say we have requested the loop--will they have this info in their system? Or am I at square one again? Thank you for helping!!:)

It may be on the reservation, but just not printed in your email. Disney will never guarantee requests - but they do their best to honor them.

You could always call and ask them if it's still on the reservation. :)

You know what? The same thing happened to me when we made our last reservations; I called in and asked where our copy was and was told the same thing about confirmations being e-mailed now. I'm the kind of Disney freak that thinks getting the cute Disney confirmation letter in the mail is part of the experience so I asked them to mail mine from now on and they have it noted under our name and number at CRO. I'm a recycler to the extreme but can't say no to the letter from 'Mickey' after we make a reservation (does anyone else consider recycling bins within walking distance of your campsite a perk of Fort Wilderness?). I guess I'm still recycling because those confirmation letters go with our vacation memorabilia.

In response to your question; our e-mailed copy of our reservation had no mention of the loop request, but the snail-mailed did.

My email has a link in it that I click that contains the information from my reservations. In that there is a section that says "resort information" that contains my pet loop request, motor home information, and loop request.

When did this email confirmation start? I make my ressies in May, for April '08, and got it via snail mail. I just got the price list last week via snail mail, too.

Don't be disappointed if you don't get your requested loop. When I made our reservation last Feb. for our trip three weeks ago I requested a specific loop and it was printed on the confirmation letter we received. When we arrived we were put in the 1300 loop. The girl at check-in tried to get us in our requested loop but no dice. The Fort was quite crowded so I'm sure that played into it. If they weren't as busy we might have had better luck.
