Hi all!
I'll be heading down to Disney Oct 31-Nov 6th. I'll be going with my boyfriend, mother and sister. My sisters birthday is Nov 1st, my boyfriends birthday is Nov 6th. (poor guy, leaving disney on his birthday :guilty: )
I need some ideas on how to celebrate their birthdays while down there.
Ive heard of divers at the coral reef holding banners...this sounds so neat! any tips on how thats done? But then what would i do for the other b-day? ...:confused3
thank you for ANY and all ideas!!:flower3:

The Coral Reef thing is done by calling the Coral Reef directly 407-560-6636 or Debbi who is one of the managers 407-560-6856. I would call asap as the divers go quick.
Also you could have a cake or goodies delivered to your room by calling private dining at your hotel, there is also a thread

Illuminations cruises can be neat as well, I heard one family even had the boat decorated to say happy birthday, here is the thread for that

Another idea is to have a special gift basket delivered to your room, you can get those by using the Disney Florist

or other sites such as:

Hope that helps :)

Unfortunatly it is probably too late to book an IllumiNations cruise as the reservation window has already past and they book quickly.
If you hurry you may get a reservation at coral reef, although when I called to change one of my reservations they only had really late or really early slots available (I am going a week before you).
It is not too late to get a specialty cake and mention any birthdays on your ADR so they know! ALso if you are staying on site, call the hotel to mention the birthdays. The hotel may have a special surprise for you.
Also when in the parks be sure to get birthday buttons and you will recieve special attention that day from the CMs.

it depends on the age......
when we are in disney 1 night after the young ones are sleeping we have the teenagers watch the kids and the Adults go to DTD/ pleasure island and have a couple of drinks and walk around it;s nice because the kids are sleeping the teenagers ( 3 of them) are watching tv and we have have a good adult time out.....
