Hi

We are due to travel out to orlando - staying at the CBR in WDW - on Sept 1st 2007. I didnt realise that the 3rd Sept was labor day holiday, does anyone know how busy it gets over that weekend - and possible into the following week.

Just trying to plan days around it.

Also the 3RD Sept is our wedding anniversary so we were hoping to book a nice restuarant (we have the disney dining plan) in one of the parks - again with this being a US bank holiday not sure how busy they will be. Any recommendations for good romantic eating place would be appreciated.

Hello,

I was there for labor day in 2005 and we didn't notice any difference in crowds etc...it was our wedding day though!

according to crowd calender there is a pirate & princesses party on at MK, appart from that crowd levels look normal, most USA kids start back school after labor day, so crowds should get lighter as your hols progress.

Hi, we have been to Orlando for the last two years on 1st Sept, and labor day has never really been a problem. Last year we were at MGM on Labor day and the crowds were busy compared to the other days, and the year before we were at Typhoon lagoon on Labor day, and it wasn't particularly busy. The rest of the holiday was spent at the parks was great, no real queues to speak of. Sorry can't recommend any restaurants, maybe someone else can help.

as everyone else has said, labor day is not much of an issue at WDW -
kids have either been in school for a few weeks or are about to begin school....either way, it's the beginning of the school year, when parents are reluctant to let kids miss even one day of school....(not so towards the end of the year)...

and after labor day we've found WDW to be a veritable ghost town - wonderfully empty...
