Is it even possible to contemplate changing free dining res?

My Dh just accepted an offer for a new job starting 9/10, and we leave for WDW a week later on 9/22! He is interested in maybe telling new boss he would start on the week of the 19th and we could go the week of the 10th. I know we would miss out on the popular restaurants, but what I want to know is could we change (assuming availability with free dining code) or will we lose free dining because the book by date was 6/24?

You might want to call and ask - I was able to add a day to my free dining plan 2 weeks ago. I got a wonderful CM who was very helpful. If they have availability at the resort you want it may be doable to change your dates. Call and see:)

There was nothing on property at all for the 8-15th so i will stick with the original plan. I didn't want to lose all the ADR's I had made anyway! Thanks for the info though!

My guess is you would lose free dining. That deal had ot be booked by a certain time, and I doubt it can be changed after the time is over. But of course you can call and ask, the worse they can say is no.
