Hi. New to posting, been lurking for some time. Little background, we just recently purchased a pop-up, are going for the first time local (NY) in Sept. Being a disney lover:love: , (dvc member) was thinking hey being we have an annual pass this year, wouldn't it be cool to add in a camping trip for christmas. Take a minute to finish laughing first ;) Well, knowing it's a complete shot in the dark,:lmao: I called to see if there was ANY availability at the Fort, and yup, you guessed it ZIPPO! Nothing through the general reservation line, nothing through DVC, nothing trough AAA. Would love to still be able to go and was wondering if anyone had any other suggestions in finding a reservation. I know I'm completely nuts trying to get in now, but I gotta try :goodvibes

Thanks!!!

The only advice I can give, is keep trying to call every day. Maybe you'll get lucky and just happen to call right after a cancellation. :goodvibes

As Rhonda said, keep calling - cancellations happen all the time.

Additional things to keep in mind/try:

Have them check fewer days than you really want. You can keep calling to try to add days once you get a reservation
Have them check for more days. If you want 4, ask for 9 or 10. For some reason I have een ale to get a resaervation for more days, then reduce the numer later.

With your pop up you can stay on any class site, so if you really want to go you may want to keep the type of site open.

Also, your best bet is to call first thing in the morning. That is normally when their reservation systems are updated, and you have a better chance of getting a cancellation that wasn't in the system from the night before.

Good luck!

Thank you.

I do plan on trying everyday, can only help, not hurt. The CM I spoke with this morning was very helpful and tried every day/every angle as well. Thanks for your advice.

Does anyone know anything about magictrips.com. Have you ever used them for a reservation?

What days and what type of site are you looking for?

Unfortunately dreams unlimited doesn't book campsites.

We're looking for the 22nd through the 30th. Partial hookup/full hook up, we're open.

Ahh, okay. I had just been looking yesterday and I saw lots of availability, but it all stopped right around the 20th-21st.

Keep calling though! Pixie dust going out your way!

We have reservations for a partial 12/23-1/5. We have been trying and trying to change to a preferred with no luck! I think I will just be happy with the partial! My kids like having tv, so will keep on trying for preferred. We also just bought a pop-up and tried it at FW earlier this month and it was great!
Good luck!
