My AP is balid through 8th December. Do you know if I would be able to book a room for that night or would the last night be 7th Dec. Don't want to renew as won't get the use.

Yes, you can book a room for December 8th. If your stay starts by the expiration date on your AP, your entire stay should still be at the AP rate. (it was in the past!) The big disadvantage, of course, is that starting December 9th, you won't be able to get into the parks! :sad1:

Thanks. Have booked the rest of my trip on the 40% off offer staying at SSR until 27th December. Was just able to get an extra day at the last minute. Managed to book 8th December at CBR. Its the day we arrive from London so decided to stay somewhere cheaper the first night incase we are delayed and dont get the use of the resort.
