Just wondered if the online check in is working ok now? We were planning on check in on line and then go to the airport later without rushing. I am only doing it this way to make sure we get our seats we want (well hopefully):thumbsup2
also is is exactly 24 hours before we fly 10.45 so is it 10.45 the day before?

We used online check-in last month. It was great when we got to the airport, there was a HUGE queue for check-in and we were able to join a much shorter queue for the bag drop:)
have you booked your seats online? we always do that just in case there is a delay getting to the airport.....I would hate to sit on my own for 8 hours!

What can throw it though, is if you flight is already delayed as computer will say "no" :rotfl:
But in normal conditions, yes 24 hours before the scheduled time of take off

If I check in online - @ LGW, the day before and drop my baggage of the day before as well.
To drop the baggage off, does the whole party have to go, or can I do it on my own?

My understanding is that yes, the whole party would need to be there as it is a security check of the passengers and their passports.
But there will be someone on here who has done this

That is my my opinion as well, but thought I'd check.
