 Checking into Ft. Wilderness tomorrow! It's a short trip- but I'm just as excited. Going back in Nov. for a longer trip, so it means when we check out, I won't have to cry. :rotfl:

See ya all on Monday!

Woohoo, hope you have fun! Be sure to give us an update when you get back, and if you include pictures, Tri-Circle-D will give you an official Fort Wilderness CIA badge...lol

:thumbsup2

But, you only get the badge if your photo is interesting.

Have a great trip!

TCD, you really should make up some kind of photo that you can post on people's threads if they live up to your FORT CIA standards...lol

You know, I actually have a Ft. Wilderness Badge (well it is really my DD's). Last Thanksgiving (2006), they had a scavenger hunt that you could do. This was to commemorate the 35th anniversary of Ft. Wilderness. One of my DD's and I did it, and brought our completed form up to the front desk. She was awarded a certificate and a badge. I probably could make up a little seal of approval from that.

BTW:

Here is a copy of the official scavenger hunt. You can still try it, although you won't be getting a badge:

I think the badge just said "ranger" or "deputy" or something like that. DD was underwhelmed.

Ok, I'm going to try but some of these I have no clue:

1) Mickey, Goofy, and Donald
2) Isn't it Dixie Cups or something?
3) No clue
4)$100.00??? I think I know the sign they're talking about, I just don't remember the reward amount really
5) Blue and white?
6) 7, I think that's what hopscotch is anyways
7) No clue at all
8) 8:40
9) Of course, one of my favorite things to do!
10) Never even looked...lol

Some of those are obviously questions you would only know if you were actually there cause they are really detailed, but I tried my best!

I'll be surprised if I got more than two right however....lol

Sorry, I don't have the answers here with me.

I saved the answers, though, because I wanted to use this next time we go to the Fort with a group.

I remember one for sure, on #7 one of the answers is diarrhea and another was constipation. How does that work- the same product treats both? That one was real funny to the TCD DD's! :rotfl2:

We really don't live too close- it's still a 9 hour drive... we're just desperate. It's been 11 months since we've been there.

Thanks everyone- I'll take pictures, no worries there.

9 hours is still better than 16 hours. I know what you mean about desperate. It'll be a year until our next trip  and I'm already counting the days.
