Hi ladies -

Some of you may know that our family has been trying to relocate to Ohio for almost 2 years now. My DH's company was bought out, moved to Ohio and offered him a job. Anyhow, 2 years later, house never sold, he no longer likes his job(probably why our house never sold - the MAN upstairs knows what's going on) and we are planning on staying put.

Anyhow - my DH has his 1st interview here in MI today with a great company and I received a call for an interview tomorrow for a Paraeducator job in our local school district. Just wondering if you can keep us in your thoughts that our luck finally turns around here! It's been a long 2 years with him commuting and having to little ones at home. Thanks!:goodvibes

Good luck!!! Things do have a way of working out....eventually....sometimes you have to go about it in a roundabout way. I hope your DH finds the job that will make him and your family happy!

My DH's interview went well and there are 2 or 3 postions available that he is qualified for. However he was told it will be a few more weeks before they make a decision. Which with our luck will happen while he is on business in China, Japan and India for 2 weeks in September. Poor guy - he will have only have 4 days to adjust back to U.S. time before we're off to Disney!

I got the job at the elementary school as a Lunch/Recess ParaEducator. I'm so excited!:goodvibes It's only 2 hours a day, but I at least have my foot in the door with the schools now.

Thanks for all of your well wishes! I will keep you all updated! Hopefully we're turning the corner now!

K~ That is great that you have your foot in the door!!! I want to work at the school in the next 3 years... I'm watching a little one that I have had since he was 6 weeks old...so he and his sister are like our own kids...so I have to get them into school full time before I can go back to work... I also want to work at the school so the kids and I are home together...

I hope DH hears something soon.... poor guy travelling all over the world..at least he gets to go to Disney and enjoy family time when he returns!!!
