I have great news! UPDATED!

First off on Sunday My boyfriend of 5 years asked me to marry him. And of course I said yes! :) And now I will be running for the marathon and to be able to fit into a wedding dress.:lmao: so it will be fun training for both and having a nice shinning rock on my finger. :)

Hope everyone is doing great. just wanted to share the great news with my great friends. Yes we will be honeymooning in Disney. :) yeah!

congratulations!!!! But we need details -- I was the recipient of the world's worst ever marriage proposal (though it didn't stop me from marrying him almost 16 years ago :rolleyes1 ), so I need to live vicariously through everyone else's romantic, gushy proposals.

Ok....the details. :)

We went shopping for the ring about a month ago, he wanted me to pick it out so that he would know that I would like it. But repeatedly told me that I wasn't getting at the store. ok I can deal with that. So later on I wanted to go see it again and it was sold. so on come the water works. :( and so we went ahead and order one and put money on it. But still won't tell me when I was getting it.

So I guess he picked it up monday when I was working in the morning(because usually we work at the same time, but my hours have been crazy because I am a pastry chef. :) ) So he kept telling me how long the weekend was taking to get here....I am like don't worry its coming. LOL

So I was gone all day with my mom on Saturday and he was really upset and missed me. :) So on sunday we went to flea market and then came home..he wanted to go for a walk and I was very up to that because it was a beautiful day and I would get some exercise in. We went down buy the river and turned me around and said whats this a pulled out the little black box and got down on one knee and all I could do was cry. :)

We told our family and everyone was happy. we had dinner reservations at my restutrant that night and my parents ended up putting a note in our bill saying dinner was on the! Again i cried..i am such a sap.

I am very happy and can't wait till I get to planning it will be next october and probably halloween theme, because I love fall and halloween and then off to disney for the honeymoon. :) I will post picks of my ring when the jewerler is done sizeing it down. :)
