HI everyone! This is my first post on these boards. Everyone is so creative and I am very impressed by the things you guys have made.

We are giving my stepson(who is obsessed w/ HSM) tickets to see High School Musical on ice as a surprise for his birthday. We are also taking a limo to the show, so he can really get the VIP feel! :yay:
I am looking for a cute way to present the tickets to him and would love to hear suggestions!
Thanks in advance!

:lmao: too funny!!

How about wrapped in a pack of back to school underwear?! Seriously though, give them to him in something that is so unexciting, that he will be thrilled when they come out!!

I vote for this idea! :rotfl: Depending on his age, I guess!

Not nearly as creative as the above two, but I have given tickets in a CD case for the artist. In this case the High School Musical CD or DVD. Works even better if they ALREADY own the CD and you just "borrow" the case without them knowing.

They unwrap and are not sure what to say because they know they already own that CD/DVD (or are thrilled you got it for them if it is new), but then they open in and instead of a CD inside are the tickets. You could also see if you can find a Hot Wheels type limo and give that to him also. See if he can put it all together and figure out why.

Okay, another idea if you scrapbook. Go ahead and make up a scrapbook page with all the needed elements and journaling, no photos, but space for them. Things like "here is DS being picked up by the limo at our house" , "here he is arriving at the HSM concert" etc... Make a pocket for the ticket stubs in the page and have the tickets in there.

Then for his gift wrap a disposable camera and the page seperately. Have him open the camera first.
