My husband and I just got home from our WDW trip. When I asked him where he wanted to go next winter he suggested a Disney Cruise. I have never been on a cruise and I know nothing about Disney Cruises. Where do I even start finding info for prices, what there is to do on the cruse, land and sea packages etc. Thanks, Dawn

Right here is a good start. You might also try http://www.***************** - an excellent source of information: menus, Navigators (the daily schedule of events), excursions, and some trip reports. Don't forget to read about the Surial Mud Bath at the Vista Spa.

Planning for the cruise is half the fun. :)

I learned a LOT by printing and reading the Magical Disney Cruise Guide (http://www.hometown.aol.com/entropym/pages/index.htm)! It's an incredible resource.

You can read it online, but it's SO long, printing it out for ease of use was much more efficient.

I now have my notes for first time cruisers posted on the Cruise Critic message boards. Please leave a reply to let me know if you enjoyed them! The cruise critic has a nice board - but NOTHING compared to this great board here on the DIS!

The next two sites, are two of my favorites!
www.*****************
www.dcltribute.com

The “Magical Disney Cruise Guide” contains pages upon pages of very valuable information – and it can be printed out also!

And here are sites with really great pictures from both the magic and the wonder ships:

I highly recommend booking with Dreams Unlimited! Their service has been tops!! www.dreamsunlimitedtravel.com you can email them for a no obligation quote.

Enjoy!

What was I thinking. I meant to mention Dreams Unlimited Travel as well. They did a great job booking our January cruise and we have two more 3-night cruises booked for this fall through them. They are absolutely the BEST travel agent to use for booking a Disney vacation. When it comes to cruising, they will continually check back with the cruise line to seek a better deal for you. Two big thumbs up for DU. :)

Don't forget to look at www.disneycruise.com. Go right to the source! Lots of info and you can get a quote. Use that number as a basis for other travel agent quotes. And, there is a lot of info on the ship layout, pictures, excursions, etc. A cruise (especially Disney) is and EXCELLENT choice. Have fun!
