MyPoints gc for RFC [Archive] - The DIS Discussion Forums

Please Help!!!

I'm want a RFC GC (mypoints points). Does anyone know if these certificates are specifically for RFC? Or is it a GC for any Landry's restaurant? The reason I'm asking is because last year I used points through FreeRide for RFC GS's and when I received them, they were for any Landry's establishment. Our trip is in less than 3 weeks. (I'm reading about lots of delays with GC's from MyPoints.) If it does not arrive in time for our WDW trip, I can use a Landry's GC for Joe's Crab Shack here in town.

Any input is greatly appreciated.

Are you turning your points into a webcertificate and then going thru webcertificate.com to order gc? I got a webcertificate (took about two weeks to show up by email) then registered with webcertificate.com and used it to purchase a RFC gc thru giftcertificate.com. That took less than one week to arrive in by mail. If that's how you're getting yours, then you'll get the same one as me thru gc.com which is any Landry's. If you got them another way, I have no idea. I had a panic attack when mine arrived as I didn't know RFC was a Landry's restaurant!

Thanks for the response Carla. The GC is directly from MyPoints. In "Spend Points", RFC is listed under Food & Restaurants. I think I might just do it and hope for the best.
I was surprised last year when they said Landry's too but I'd seen on these boards that they'd bought them. But I did call RFC-AK to make sure they'd accept them!!
