DH and I saw a cruise that leaves from Dover that we are interested in. We were thinking we'd fly into one of the London ariports and spend a few days in London prior to the cruise.
Is there a train between London and the port at Dover? If not, how would you suggest traveling between the two?
Thanks for the info!

Yes there is a train I suspect it would leave from Charing Cross.

Just found its two trains an hour and takes about 1hr 45 mins to get from London to Dover.
Juorney planner (http://ojp1.nationalrail.co.uk/en/pj/jp), you need Charing Cross and Dover Priory.

A word of warning you need to find out where the cruise leaves from as there are Eastern & Western docks and there is approx 2 miles distance between the 2. I'm pretty sure that the cruises leave from the Western docks. You will need to take a taxi from the station to the docks as the station is up nearer the town centre then the docks.
