I have noticed the theme park hours have extended, and this week is also not included in the Disney Visa special. Is there anything going on this week besides the typical x-mas stuff that happens every year. Disney just keeps pointing me to the park events website. They will not give me a yes or no. Any info would be great. Thank you.

I think that is the week that the Pop Warner Football Players and Cheerleaders are there.

We go to WDW at this time.

I only noticed them two times, at night and on the weekend.

They were loud and cheering but didn't bother me. We walked by maybe 10 girls doing a cheer. I have little kids so we don't do the EMH at night. It seems to me we going home and they were coming in.

One year we stayed at ASM and that was insane! They were everywhere and loud at night. I would avoid ASM but the parks were ok.

We are going then this year, sure we will enjoy it there then.

We are staying at All-Star Movies. That is ok we do not spend much time at the hotel anyway.

There is also the taping of the ABC Holiday parade that 1st weekend in December, and Mousefest is in early December as well. We'll be there 11/29-12/3 and I'm thinking it's going to be much more crowded than it has been in early December, just from what I'm reading on these boards. Regarding Pop Warner - is there a schedule of their performances anywhere online? That way I could be sure we are not in the same park that they are on the day of a big show/competition/whatever they do down there. We did find them unruly, loud & obnoxious last year & did have an incident with a small group of them in MK one evening. If I know their schedule ahead of time maybe I can avoid them.

We will be at GF that week. I have never stayed there before, usually must stay at the Value resorts but decided to splurge. Maybe THEY won't be there. But it really isn't the noise at the resorts I worry about. I just hope it isn't too crowded at the parks. What do you think? :santa:

We will also be there from December 3rd -7th. We are staying at Pop Century. I really hope that we don't run into any problems and long lines. That's why we decided to go in early December was to avoid all of the crowds!:sad2:

Pop werner events are being held at the sports complex. I talked to someone at Disney and they tod me that the parks will be a little more crowded at night and weekends because the events are no going on then. I was told by others that they mainly stay at value resorts because it is the cheepest. We are going mainly to see "Disney Christmas". We are there for a week if we don't go on something due to line then there is allways next year, wait we are going to Disneyland next year , OK then there is always 2009. Taping the parade - is that the first weekend meaning Dec 1 and 2 or the 8th and 9th?
