and do either one have anything for the children to do other that swim and play video games. Like poolside games or activities. Trying to decide between these two. Thanks all.

The (original) Resort has many pools, most with a fountain, waterfall or other nice feature. One of them has a short, steep, zippy slide. The super pool also has a water volleyball net. There are numerous scheduled activities (crafts, make-your-own sundaes and other gatherings) in various parts of the resort every day, besides playgrounds, basketball, volleyball, mini-golf, shuffleboard, etc.
The Villages is newer and smaller. I haven't been there. Have read that they do offer a few activities as well. Hope this helps.
