We got a dream!

We were in line for the Buzz ride and there were 2 dream team people passing out lanyards that had 2 YOMD pins on them! My oldes DS was excited because that got him started on his pin collection! He was debating whether or not to buy a lanyard and pins to get started, but they did it for him! So we got 5 total-everyone got one!

We were excited!!! A couple of days later we noticed a gril from the dream team standing off by herself and she was next to some ducks (for some reason my DD was really into the ducks) and so we went over to see them and we stood and talked to her for a long time , but did not get anything from her! It was all fine- my DS got a lot of comments on his new lanyard- someone in the UK at WS told him they were special and only a couple times of day they pass those out- so that made him more excited to get have it!

We got the lanyards also, they were handing them out at Rockin Roller Coaster last week....
We got fooled a few times while at the parks: We got off test track and saw some people outside with white coats on....I told the boys, act excited, lots of laughter......I walked up to them.....they asked me to take a survey about test track.......I was bummed,,,,,DW was laughing at me......I thought I was going to get something big!!!! They got me again at Carousel of progress....same thing a survey........it was pretty funny!!
Oh well, we still got something.......

I also got picked out of the audience at Flights of wonder...they gave me a post card with YOMD on it and just wrote my name on it....kind of cheesey!!!!

I also spent some time chatting with a dream team member. She told me that half her time is spent passing out dreams and the other half she spends like a goodwill ambassador (my words, not hers). She walks around, chats with people, makes sure things are going okay for them. If she sees someone alone, she checks on them to make sure everything is okay. That's why she picked me to talk to. I was alone, waiting for my ds and dh to get off RNR because I can't do coasters due to spinal fusion. When she found out I couldn't ride some of the rides, she gave me a Tink pin! She said she also would give a fastpass to someone with a crying child if they had to leave a line and other things like that. She said that (the goodwill asmbassador) was her favorite part of the job!
She was really nice, and my 14 yr old ds wanted to go back to MGM on the day she was working again, just to see her!!

After 2 prior trips with no encounters with dreams winners, we finally saw and experienced a little bit...

The 2 groups queued right AFTER us on Triceratops Spin won Dream Fastpasses (argh!)

When we boarded Star Tours our flight was delayed as a dream team boarded... we won lanyards.

We got lanyards and pins on Buzz too! Got ours on August 31!
