transferring points

I am a new DVC member and have a question in regards to transferring points from one DVC member to another. I currently have a use year of April and want to have points transferred from another member whose use year is October. When these points are transferred into my account , will the use year change from October to April?

I just did a transfer and once the transfer is done it will be acording to YOUR use year. I also believe that you can only be involved in 1 transfer a year meaning both you and the other party have each used your 1 transfer.

The transferred points will keep their original use year and home resort. They will therefore expire at the end of Sept unless they can be banked.

Dean is right. I did a transfer recently and any transferred points retain the original use year.:cool:
