anytips/tricks for getting from the station to HNY?

We'll be going straight from the station to the hotel New York. Are there any shortcuts we should be aware of or looking out for, or do we just make out way through the village and into the hotel from there?

Just head through the village as walking alongside the road could be difficult. Or you could wait for the shuttle bus.
