looking for characters dressed as pirates

The talent on the disboard is AMAZING!!! I hope someone can help. I'm looking for the characters both female and male together dressed as pirates. We are going to MNSSHP on Sept 14 and what I wanted to do is put the group picture on the back of the shirts and then on the front left corner mickeyhead with pirate gear or tiara's and name of the person. We are 4 girlfriends going with our kids 4 girls and 2 boys. I've already purchased tiara's for the girls to wear and bandana's for the boys.

I've looked through alot of the clipart but it's either just the princesses or just the pirates and my New Year's resolution this year will be to learn Photoshop!:surfweb:

I have these two mickey heads with different pirate hats. I can do them with or without the earring. Just tell me what names you want on them. I don't have any mickey ears with a tiara but I'm sure someone else does. Just don't know who right now. I am working on a design for you using the clipart that Dom13 posted and the pirate princesses. What do you want to have written on it? Just "MNSSHP"? Do you want WDW and the year? I think I'll be able to post it in the morning.

I love this graphic, and I definitely hope to use it, but I am wondering. Is the color on Pluto a little off, isn't he a little more orangey than yellowey? Or is it possibly just my computer here at work that is making it look that way?

I am like the OP, I am going to be learning PhotoShop--have my own personal tutor at home, but I do not ever expect to have the creativity you guys have. I am in awe of what you guys turn out. :thumbsup2

Here are a few different ones to choose from. In case you want to use black shirts I changed the border on a couple to orange. I'd be happy to make an orange or colored square around the mickey pirate heads if you want to put them on a black shirt. Let me know and then I'll do them.

Okay regarding the names my plan is to put them on the front left top side (pocket area) I was planning on using dark probably not black but now I think I just might go with white or jewel colors....oh maybe different jewel color for everyone, yes but a bright jewel color...sorry for the rambling I'm thinking out loud:lmao: Okay make me the names with just the black mickeyheads no boarders or boxes.

I checked and Pluto is slightly more green and blue than Donald's beak & foot. R-255, G-219, B-16 vs. R-255, G-217, B-8. Thought I used the same color but maybe I had it set to a slight transparnecy. I'll adjust it and post it again later.

And please understand that I was not trying to be critical, he just looked funny to me, and it was probably my monitor here at work. I think he looked better on my iBook last night. I'm so glad you like them. I just got the pictures by going to Google, selecting "images" and typing in "pirate ship". Then I narrowed the search by selecting "large images" and picked a few I thought might work. Then I just inserted those images in the photoshop file and tried different ones. It's easy once you know how to do it.

I know what you mean about having them say something. I'm quite unimaginative when it comes to quotes or sayings. :lmao:

Here are your pirate heads. Remember, if you use dark or jewel colored shirts you will be using dark transfer paper. That means the white on the background of the mickey head is going to show up on the transfer. The only way to not have it show up is to cut it out. If you decide you want to do that the earring is going to make it difficult. If you need to have me do these without the earring later just let me know. Or if you want me to put a square box/border around....

Then under the products dropdown box, select the version of PhotoShop that you use.

There will be some chapters that are "grayed" out. You can do all the ones you see that are not "grayed" out for free. Then if you want to do more, you pay by the month or the year.

I did the free ones last night.

I also want to get a PhotoShop for Dummies book--I know that is the best place for me to start, really basic. Good luck.


ETA: If you are already using PhotoShop, then the free tutorials I took are probably too basic for you, but you can check them out.

My niece and my son are both turning 5 in November. My niece is having a birthday party at Chef Mickey's and my son is having his birthday party at Ft. Wilderness (Cowboy theme).
