Well I guess I should start off by introducing my family. My wife's name is Jenny and she is an R.N. My son is 4 months old and his name is Landon. My name is Chris and I am a Deputy Sheriff (I work with Leger13's husband). Anyway Leger13 (a member on this board) sent me the link to this board so I thought I would register and make my first post. We are not going to DW until next year in Sep, but I thought I would join and learn all there is to learn. We will be going with Leger13 and her husband.

I have a few people I wish to convert as well.

Welcome to the Happiest Website on Earth (Besides disney.com). I agree with Leger13, best way to meet people is to catch the train on A pre-trip and follow through with their Trip Reports. There is a thread, don't remember where, but people have listed their favorites. Check them out... some are right down funny. I have ended up with side aches from laughing so hard. I can't say how happy we are to have you join. I can't wait to here about your planning goes. Remember this... It is never to early to write a pre-trippie! :rotfl:

:flower3: Welcome FPTigger! Glad to have you on the DIS boards. LOL, I'm an LPN, my DH is a police officer and we live in Jefferson, GA. Small world!

How cool that you changed your vacation to WDW this year! Another LOL, we were there October 7-14 LAST year.

If you're not already, you'll be addicted to these boards in no time!

Question: Is the Dining plan worth it? We are trying to see if we will spend more money if we do not get the plan.

Question: Is the Dining plan worth it? We are trying to see if we will spend more money if we do not get the plan.

you already know my opinion on it...but another way to do it is if you don't want to get the dining plan you could always get a Disney Visa card for your trip and use it only at WDW. You get tons of discounts when you use it. Food, souvineers, etc. Might be worth it.
