awwww that baby is so sick. Im sure she'll be fine. I wasnt planning on checking my dress .. to be honest I wasnt sure i was gonna check anything. I dont really think im gonna bring that much. ill have to decide. Will the shirts taht you made for us be for after the wedding or should i go out and get a little sun dress or something to wear for the rest of the night? Now about my park hopper pass, Should i get 3 or 4 days? Will we be in the park after the wedding? What exactly is the schedule? Ill be arriving on the 22nd (my birthday) at around 1:45ish. My interview went well, I don't think there was anything that I could have done differently. I should hear in 5 days (they're very specific, not a week. 5 days)...i'm glad to have the wedding to take my mind off the next week or so...thank you for all of your well wishes! you guys are great!

Tiffany is doing well, she had a fever last night and this morning, but i gave her medicine (that was fun-trust me) and by the time i got home from the interview, she was running around terrorizing her father.

i got home from the interview a little earlier (4 hours early to be exact) than i expected...which gave me a lovely opportunity to take mark to my hair stylist who i love and adore. he needs to look clean for the big day and i knew trish would fix him up nice, which she did. we're going for the whole "faux hawk" look for mark. i'm so glad that i went with him because it gave me a chance to talk to her about MY hair for the wedding...i'd originally thought that i'd just throw it in a french twist and let it be, but she'd already vetoed that idea once and then i decided to wear the cathedral (along with the cage) for the ceremony and there wouldn't be a place for the cathedral to stick in...so here's what i came up with...

Ok C so I got a 3 day PH pass. i figure that Ill be around for tuesday and wednesday and then friday is a park day. Im hoping that the weather will be a little bit nicer and maybe we can go to the pool after the wedding but if not Downtown Disney has always been nice. Ya know caryn I realy like the first hair do. Im not really into the wavy starlet thing (reminds me of the ocean). Plus your hair is a bit too long for that I mean just picture what i have goin on in my head right now .. that wavy starlet thing on top and then your straight hair from like your eyebrows down. Not exactly the greatest of all hair dos. But whatever you want C. Im relaly looking forward to the wedding. It will be nice to get away for a little while. Glad to hear the interview went well (im sure you'll get it Caryn- we sisters rarely get turned down for jobs). The shoes turned out soooo wonderful, how exciting! And I'm sure you did well in the interview. I just took this cat age survey and it made me think of you. I shouldn't have deleted the link and then you could have taken it for all your furbabies. I found out our Apex is 25.3 years old (in human years) which is young for his breed. Whatever that means. LOL. (Now who's the crazy cat lady??)

I love all three hair styles, but I especially like 1 & 2. They're actually very Katherine Heigl. Are you seeing Ana before the big day?? If you want finger waves like in 3, I'd give her a heads up. She may need different tools and supplies than she would normally have on hand. My girlfriend Jenna is doing my hair and she absolutely hates doing finger waves. She said they're really hard to get to turn out right. So we're working on alternate ways to get the "starlet" look. We're doing highlights, a trim, and the hair trial the week after next. I'll make sure to take pictures to post on my PJ. But you'll be gone by then . Jeesh, I just can't believe how close we all are!!

we're staying in florida an extra few days anyways, but i want to stay longer! ;) the wait between the interview and the decision is excrutiating...nothing a good shopping trip won't cure though :eek: !

i got it from guestbookstore.com. i simply love it! there are a bunch of different colors and special pages that you can get for it too. i bought a pack of 100 acid free colorful markers for our guests to get creative with!

a note to future brides reading this...

approximately 8 days before your wedding you WILL freak out. you WILL dream of changing your dress, yet again, to ivory or gold because you think you look better in those colors than you do in white. you WILL wake up in the middle of the night with the crazy idea that you JUST MIGHT be able to spray paint your dress ivory. you might scrap that idea all together and begin yet another search for wedding dress #4.

the pile of stuff to pack that is currently sitting on your couch will begin to overwhelm you. you will have to separate yourself from your emotions at this point and just WALK AWAY.

every time you look at the garment bag holding the dress that you have recently decided is the wrong color you'll begin to hyperventilate because you still don't have a concrete plan as to how huge, wrong colored dress is going to fit on the plane.

you'll find that eating, and really thinking at this point are becoming increasingly difficult.

every time your cat breaths, you'll think she's dying (so far we're up to 3 vet trips this week).

you'll simply forget that you have had a car in the shop for a week.

while eating pizza at a restaurant with your friends, you'll turn to your fiance with a demonic look and tell him not to bother you in your "happy" place. said fiance and other friends all look down at their plates while mouthing "bridezilla."

you don't even want to go to the mall to pick up your engagement ring that's being sized for the 17th time, because at the mall, you MIGHT find something else that you HAVE to have for the wedding and that would ruin your plan. for this reason, you illogically start a fight with your fiance before he even gets out of bed because you want HIM to go to the mall WITH you so as to stop you from unnecessarily spending any more money.

It's been awhile since I've been through the wedding planning stuff, but I understand the stress and pressure that bubbles over with planning. I went through the big ordeal with my first wedding. Everone chiming in their two cents worth of advice and making me nuts at the time. But I did it the right way for my second marriage (in 2002)...DH and I got married in a small chapel in Kissimmee. No one else was there...just us. It was exactly the way it needed to be! Although, I really wanted the DFTW, but it was beyond our means at the time. I lurk here a lot because I am planning on doing a vow renewal at Disney! Just won't be for a few more years...maybe our 10 year wedding anniversary!

OMG! i LOVE satc. mark figured out how to break the copyright on the dvd's and make them mp4 files so i can have them on my ipod for the plane!!! i CAN'T WAIT for the movie to come out. i think carrie gets married...

i am miranda and charlotte combined with carrie's fashion sense. i love when miranda got married and she was dress shopping on her lunch break (CLASSIC)!

Caryn, hang in there chica! I have no advice other than (like said) you are allowed to be stressed! Try to take each little task one-at-a-time and let the rest go. Have your sensible self tell the perfectionist & creative self that its too late to make changes or paint your gown. Just try wrapping up the stuff that you have to do and let the rest be done (you have done a beautiful job), focus on getting to Disney, soak up the magic and enjoy! :grouphug:

that's true. you've got the exfoliate the heck out of your skin and moisturize it to death before you spray tan...but jaclyn (jaxteach) said that you can use clorox wipes to get rid of dark spots...

i rarely burn, but don't like how the beds dry me out and make my skin stiff, so i put a really low spf sunblock on (8) before i go in and it works REALLY well, i end up golden brown instead of reddish. and i NEVER tan my face...i just use a ton of bronzer.

i HATE tan lines. seriously. when i was a lifeguard on my college program at wdw, i swore that i was NOT going to be one of those girls who walked around with a big white X on her back and i never did. i used 2 bottles of sunblock a week in the summer. no joke. tan lines are unacceptable, ESPECIALLY for my wedding.

I just talked to my mom about it. She actually made that dress!!! Her MOH picked out the hat though!

I think that the dresses you chose for your sisters will have more of a classic look when you look back at the pictures from your wedding (think of looking at our grandparents photos. The 70's and 80's were a horrible time for bridesmaids. I look back at my BFF's pictures (10 years now) and they are still okay. Maybe after 20 years they will scare me.

Here's a hint for future brides: Don't pick prints for the BM dresses and avoid ruffles!

I DO NOT HAVE TAN LINES.
In fact, to avoid having tan lines (and to get rid of the ones I had) I went out and bought a swim suit without straps. I also wore a tube top every weekend for months. I plan to wear the same top all weekend just in case there is a shadow of tan lines.
I AM NOT GOING TO THE TANNING BED. I will not be orange (or brown) or filled with skin cancer.

Now, a more important subject is that I have not yet received directions, a phone number, an address of the winery which I'll be visiting tomorrow. I also don't have an order number, a person's name... nothing. Perhaps I'll take my car and drive around Clearwater and see if I can find it.
People won't notice if I have a slight tan line. They will notice if they don't get a favor for the wedding.

my sister would kill me right now if she saw me. Im crying!! I cant believe the time has come for my sister to get married. So my parents and my grandma left this morning at 4 am. I leave tomorrow at 8 am. I have officially packed all of my things INCLUDING my BM dress in a small carry on suitcase. Ill bring a rather large purse as well for my books (school) and some extras that dont fit in the suitcase. Its going to be a good week - im banking on stressful but a lot of fun. lets just hope taht it doesnt snow and my flight isnt cancelled tomorrow. PRAY PEOPLE PRAY!!!! Ok well ill be blogging again before i leave (after my birthday party in NJ tonight) (my birthday is tomorrow BIG 24!!).

Well, my parents and Caryn arrived this morning. I packed up the car (I'll post the pictures in her TR) and drove over to ASMovies. That's where I met my Mom, Dad and Gram. They had a towel animal on their bed (I'll post that pic too) Cousin Kelly and Destiney came and picked up Gram so that she could spend a few days with her son who also in lives in Fl. Dad and I unpacked my car and I modeled one of Caryn's veils for them. I just heard from everyone and they have dropped off the welcome bags. They should be great!! This will be my last post before the wedding. I leave tomorrow after work!

well its my time to enter the world of walt. I leave in about an hour to join the fam. Thanks so much for everyones birthday wishes it was very much appreciated. I just spoke with my mom and she told me that caryn is really excited and it shows. She says that they got this suit that would quote "knock your socks off". She said it was bigger than my parents first house. I wouldnt doubt it!!! I called my dad yesterday and he was having lunch with the father of the groom. Oh Boy!!!!! My poor cat doesnt know whats going on. Shes very confused and upset - she slept under the couch last night but dont worry I DID see her yellow fur all over my suitcase so i know she was sniffing around. my litte curious girl. Ok well i need to get myself a good cup of coffee and maybe a good stiff shot of something before i go (i hate flying by myself)!!!! So as they say in the world .. Well, we're home. Everything turned out beautifully! We had wonderful weather. Randy was spectacular. Caryn and Mark are coming here today. They need to use my vacuum to vacuum seal her dress so that they don't get charged for extra luggage. So cool that a Dismember lurked for Caryn!! I think she began her TR last night. As soon as I load my pics I'll post some for you.
