here i'll start
i like radio disney because you know for a fact that they will play a clean verson of songs
i dislike that they play some dorky songs on there
my fav song they play is i gotta go my own way by vanessa

I used to love Radio Disney. Way back when, when the boy bands were extremely popular and people like Britney Spears were just starting out it was my favorite station. It was the Nineties and I was a kid- how was I supposed to resist? They played all the current, fun music, and they also mixed in a bit of older stuff from time to time. I thought it was just awesome.

Nowadays they don't play any music at all that interests me; they showed the top ten requested songs on the Disney Channel the other day, and let's just say that it wasn't exactly my cup of tea. :crazy2:

So I don't listen too much anymore. It started to lose my attention when Avril Lavigne and Hilary Duff made up approximately half of the music that was played, and lost it completely when Bowling For Soup got popular. But I still have good memories of back when it was my favorite. :goodvibes:

i like half of the songs and i hate half it's weird
but they are like the only radio station that plays the edited version of songs
so i love that part

I like radio disney! They play the songs I like. I am NOT a fan of rap and that is popular now and I hate it. The play songs that are fun, but some are really dorky. I like all the contests too. Recently I won a t-shirt signed by the Jonas Brothers! I don't know how long you all have had radio disney (Ampris seems to have had it for a long time). Oklahoma just got Radio Disney last year.

Oh, I also like it because the music is stuff that younger kids should be listening too. I may not be younger anymore, but I believe that kids shouldn't be listening to music that is saying,"let me see you shake your money maker". I am glad that disney is targeting the right music to play.

It's played for years in North Carolina, but only in a few areas (Charlotte, Raleigh, etc.). We used to live near Charlotte and were able to get it on the radio, but can't anymore since our last move. It's also available as a radio channel if you have Dish. (We don't, though)
