7 month window for 4th of July- advice please!

We own at BWV, but my boys are hoping to try something different and are hoping to stay at AKV and BCV during our next trip. They are in different schools with different vacations, so we are stuck with summer travel. Is there any chance of getting in these resorts at the 7 month mark? I would love to visit the world over the holiday, but don't know if I am being unrealistic. The 4th is on a Saturday in 2009- will that make it any easier? We would split our stay- AKV Mon-Friday; transfer to BCV Fri-Tues. I am also thinking of reserving at BWV @ the 11 month mark- I would have to switch out the reservation day by day as I do not have enough to make both. Also- if not available- I'd be willing to waitlist and what are the chances of that? Lastly, which room types would you think I would be most likely to get at 7 months? Thanks for any advice you have...:)

Make a reservation at your home resort at 11 months. Then at 7 months see if you can change it out. That way, you will have a reservation for that time frame.

That's what I was pretty much thinking. I will cross my fingers and hope for pixie dust!! Should I link the days on my original reservation, or not? Does this make it any easier for MS to change it day-to day if something becomes available (or is when I call day to day right at 7 months?).
