Age 20 old enough?

Have another adult (few months shy of 21) traveling with us. Will his KTTW card indicate he cannot access adult clubs? What about ordering from the bar?

To see or speak with this person you would guess 26 or so.

Actually the age is 18 for accessing all the adults-only areas on the ship. The age is definitely 21 to order alcohol, though, and they do card. :)

I was just looking over the updated Navigators on Barb's website and in Rockin Bar D they were offering a special "cocktail" and it stated that guests 18 and older could enjoy.

I also thought drinking age was 21.

MJ, I'm not sure what you saw in the Navigators but they do say that guests 18 and older can ENJOY the clubs (they are allowed in) but I am positive that the drinking age is 21 on the ship. :)

I think I see what you are referring to in the Navigators, but I think it is just more of a case of being somewhat unclear in the way things are ordered.

On the first page of the Navigator for Day 3 (Monday, January 21, 2002), there is an ad for the 70's disco night that says:

Even though it looks like the "18 & Older" comment applies to the cocktail, it really applies to the 70's Disco Night. The drinking age on board is 21.

I have a 19 DS and we asked last year and the age is 21 for alcohol. No problem getting into the clubs.

RickW....yes...I see what you mean...I did think it referred to the cocktail, but seeing more clearly it must mean the age to get in club.

FYI, the drinking age is 18 at all ports of call except for Castaway Cay (which is 21).

not that any of us drink....
it's funny about the drinking age and the US....
i've lived overseas for so many years i'd forgotten about it...
most places the age is 18 and even that is rarely enforced (try telling someone in france they can't have a glass of wine with their meal)....
what about the atlantis casino....is there an age limit?......that is, how old do you have to be to get in?....(not that we gamble, but it's fun to just see once...)
