Hi all

Many thanks for your replies to my question regarding visiting in Jan and the marathon. My family (myself, DH and DS who will be 4 then) will be going with my FIL and SIL who have been several times and now my FIL has announced that he doesnt want to go in Jan and the earliest he will go is March. So I scoured the board again for people who have been in March and I found loads of posts about Spring Break and of course Easter so after much trawling :surfweb: I have more or less decided on the last week of April and the first week of May. (We want to find out how much extra another week will be so it may be the 2nd week of May as well.) I know it will be warmer than Jan/Feb and a bit busier but from what I've read it's not one of the busiest times of year to go so I'm hoping we'll be ok. At the end of the day we all want to have a good time so there has to be some compromising, I'd rather go with them than without them!

Look forward to speaking to you all some more.

Tracy x

Late April/early May is one the best times to go, ideal weather and fairly low crowds.
If we were not restricted by school holidays this would be an option for us also.
