It's not a great difference -
14nts 10th Spet 2008 POFQ is £2301 for two persons
14nts 10th Sept 2008 Pop is £1902 for two persons
So for £400 extra you get all the DDP at £14 a day each and you get to stay at a Moderate resort, so even if you did stay at Pop your food would come to more than £14 a day each!

Although for some reason there is no mention on the VH website of this offer, I was just basing it on the costs shown :confused3 I am sure if the free offer was showing that the basic costs would remain the same.

Thank you:) .POR does look lovely.
I'm really unsure about the dining plan,i know me&hubby would eat our money's worth without a doubt:laughing: But the girls would be a different story and i'm worried thats where we may lose out??.They always share a meal.Am i right in saying that we would have to buy 4ddp? The girls would'nt be able to share so we only had to buy 3ddp??.x.

Next aug/sep when this offer is on they will be 7yrs and 3yrs.See were going in Mar/Apr 2009(I-drive)for eldests birthday(8yrs whilst over there)so maybe it may be better if we just waited till then and booked free dining(if they do it again)for 2010:eek: .They may have bigger appetites by then:laughing: The little one eats like a horse, but eldest eats like a bird.x.

But if you are going during the free dining plan period you wont be paying for them anyway:confused3 , and maybe you coulod use the extra credits for character dining or somewhere that uses more than one credit per meal.

We stayed in the Ab section and there are 5 of us, 2 double beds and a pull out bed, we never found the space aproblem but in all fairness didnt spend a great deal of time in the room, the place is so beautiful to just walk round after a day at the parks, we went in the pool some days at 11pm before bed time. I cant reccomend this place enough for you it really is superb:cool1:

This is a great offer and I am so tempted .I have said we won't go again in July/august as too hot for us or untill 2009 but if you get a possible 2 nights free and free dining I may think about it as really want to try the wilderness lodge as went to have a look this time and thought it was gorgeous.May have to be a 11 nighter though:thumbsup2 I know it says on the original add "specific dates".Does that mean all through that period stated or is it only dates in that time span?Anyone know?:confused3
Hey Burt-had agood holiday:thumbsup2

Thanks very much, sounds like loads of room compared to what some people say about the space in the value resorts. You mean you actually walked more after walking round the parks all day,are you mad?? .After a day at the parks i'm fit to drop!!!.
Well it's been great talking to you all,but i must be getting on as were off tomorrow morning for a week down our caravan and i still have loads to do.Take care all and speak soon and thanks for the advice.Byeeeeeeee!!!!!!

If it was free I would use the DDP But I would not just eat on property and not use all the credits.
If I had to pay for it I wouldn't do it for any time longer than a week. We have done it for 21 days and found that we were getting bored with the food choices as a lot of the menus seem to have the same sort of things on them.
Next time we go we will not use it. Gives us more choice where we want to eat whether on or off property.
Some people love it, others like us think its changed the face of disney dinning and not for the better.
What every you choose don't forgot to book them ADR's!!

I think you need to look at menus(lots of sites have them) and price it all up for your family and dates. We prefer offsite hotels and dining, Disney 24/7 is too much for us. I would certainly not enjoy planning meals months in advance. Like tonight for eg. we could not have faced a full meal just went to Ale House and 3 of us shared a $5.95 basket of onion rings. We never decide until we are ready to leave the hotel room where we are going. Also onsite gets very very busy with these offers.
Most people love the dining plan but it's not for everyone. Its like going on the Disney cruise you eat more than you should because its there.
